Second Mission Trip To Myanmar

In July 17-25, five Filipino missionaries, led by Pastor Jonathan Bocobo, went to Myanmar for a second Every Nation medical and relief mission trip. In 9 days, more than 300 people still suffering in the aftermath of cyclone Nargis received medical and relief assistance from them.

From June 21-27, Pastor Jonathan Bocobo of Victory-Malate led a team of 6 Filipinos to Myanmar for a medical and relief mission. In just 5 days, they were able to give medical assistance to over 400 people. They also gave medicines, clothes, food and water supply.

South African churches respond to refugee crisis

On Sunday, May 10, xenophobic attacks broke out in Johannesburg, South Africa and within two weeks had spread to many of the nation's centres. Thousands fled for their lives and, to date, there have been more than 50 foreign nationals killed. In Cape Town alone there are believed to be 20,000 homeless. In the hours that followed, His People/Every Nation was one of many churches that responded to this terrible situation.

Help for the victims of Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar

We have now started accepting donations for “Myanmar Relief” on the Every Nation website – here is a summary of the current situation and how we can help. Myanmar (formerly known as Burma), took a direct hit from Cyclone Nargis on May 2 & 3, leaving an estimated 100,000 dead and up to 1 million at further risk due to lack of safe drinking water, food, shelter and medical assistance.
